Wear a Mask
Apr 13, 2020
**Please save the N95s for health care professionals**, but find/make yourself a mask. It'll keep you from touching your face, and make you more aware of the times you do. A mask will reduce the amount of droplets you put out into the world, and it'll make you look and feel like a cool ninja.
Wearing a mask doesn't replace physical distancing, the need to wash your hands for 20 seconds (don't forget your thumbs), or staying home when you feel unwell; it's simply an additional layer to protect you and those around you. You can use a bandana as well, just make sure you've covered your entire mouth and nose. Wear it around the house to practice if you need to.
I wake up every m̶o̶r̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ afternoon and check the news, and I'm realizing that there are only so many updates that can come daily, and I'm not really doing myself any favours by checking so often. This is a new normal, and although everyone is not doing their best, many are, and we have to make space for this to get sorted out. This unique time in history is going to make us re-evaluate so many things we thought were important; how we spent our time, who we spent it with, and what type of future we're looking for. More than spending time on social media, I encourage y'all to take journeys inwards. We could write a journal, or create some art, anything that will help with the most important relationship we have, the one with ourselves. #BLESS
