It's great to pay attention to the world and adjust accordingly. So many artists refused to embrace the digital world and got left behind, what's the next platform that's slowly taking over? I was just in music when I started, now my books, clothing, and influencer work pay for me to make whatever music I want, shoot elaborate videos and I never have to worry about making a dime back.
That only happened because I kept my eyes open and was willing to adjust.
There's a difference between adjusting and compromising. Adjusting means moving the sails to work with the wind, compromising means changing your whole direction because it seems like the path of less resistance. This doesn't just apply to art, but life as a whole, and because of that, I implore everyone to spend less time living on the fringes of ALL or NOTHING, and explore the world of SOMETIMES. If you have a flat tire, you don't slash the other 3, so if things aren't working the way you're doing them, don't give up, just make adjustments.
